Born in the 1980s, Katie Wong Kalam possesses more than two seemingly contradictory but co-existing identities. Katie is a littérateur, an artist, a writer and an illustrator.
During the day she’s a full-time visual arts teacher in a local secondary school. At night she’s the little child of her parents. These multiple identities inspire her to draw from different angles and perspectives as a kidult, including childhood memories, eclectic creative ideas and sharing art. This exhibition will share paintings sincerely created by Katie with all adults, kids and kidults.
