Sino Group initiated the ‘Art in Hong Kong’ programme in 2006 to bring art into people’s daily lives. Following the success of public art galleries in Central Plaza lobby in Wan Chai and OC Gallery in Olympian City, Sino Group’s ‘Art in Hong Kong’ is delighted to collaborate with EDGE Gallery to bring a series of exciting art exhibitions titled ‘CHKC Art Walk Series’ to China Hong Kong City’s five office towers.
A delightful exhibition of artists from Hong Kong, mainland China and France
The third exhibition in the series ‘Delightful’ was launched on 16 December 2009. The exhibition features three talented artists, Elise Lai from Hong Kong, Frank Vigneron from France and Yan Ren Kui from mainland China. The three artists from different cultural backgrounds each interpret the meaning of ‘delightful’ by using beautiful colours and lines. Elise Lai is interested in asking questions about the lives of urban people, using a colourful palette to joyfully interpret everyday life. The hand drawn graphic work of Professor Vigneron is inspired by Confucianism and projects a calm, harmonious optimism. Yan Ren Kui uses positive idioms to reinterpret ‘New Fables’ and bring audiences into his imaginary world.
