HAN SunHyun was born in 1968. As she grew up in her hometown, Dangjin, Chung Cheong NamDo Province, he always enjoyed scribble and drawing. In 1993, while he studied art in Kwan-Dong University, he had his first solo exhibition on 'human being ' theme. In 1996, he went to Italy for further study. While he was attending Carrara National Fine Arts Academy, he had an opportunity to meet the renowned wood artisan, Maestro Claudio Chiappini. He was fascinated by his works and became his pupil.

He had solo exhibition on 'The animals'. After he returned to Korea, he opened various private exhibitions '2002 human being and the animal', 2003 'HAN SunHyun's small studio', 2005 'The goat on the log bridge', 2006 'The warfare of white goat and he declares Peace' in Gallery Sang. His 7th solo exhibition was hosted by Samtoh Gallery, exhibiting ‘Drawing the dreams of the goat’, picture diary that he’s been drawing for 8 years.
