The Chinese Contemporary Art is at its flourishing time. Aside from the Pop art trend, the traditional realism artists have been exerting their influence through their delicate landscape and portrait paintings. On the other hand, the generation who born in the 70's and the 80's show their talents and stand out conspicuously in the art arena. They excel in capturing the particular happenings in life and the tender moments intertwined with the city life. BaoQu Tang Gallery of Art is delighted to present the "Group of SIX", which showcased the selected oil paintings of 6 Chinese contemporary artists. In Chinese, the word "SIX" indicates "land" and implies the meaning of "continuous". These six artists in different age all come from mainland China. Their different styles in painting reflect the continuous development of Chinese contemporary art in the past few decades.
