'Lala-Land' group exhibition by Lee Kit, Tsang Chui Mei and Cornelia Erdmann
by Blue Lotus Gallery
Location: Blue Lotus Gallery
Date: 21 Dec 2008 - 18 Jan 2009

The coming exhibition, titled 'Lala-land', showing Lee Kit, Tsang Chui Mei and Cornelia Erdmann is a reaction to the hussle and bussle of town. Here, three artists create each in their own way an oasis, a place to hide away from the tensions of life.  Cornelia produced an imaginative garden on the wall by the use of stainless steel in shapes of butterflies and garden leaves. Lee Kit will prepare an installation piece with self-dyed fabric and pillows quoting phrases that encourages escape. Lee Kit will reside in the gallery during the exhibition and create his artworks on the spot. Tsang Chui Mei will be showing a series of abstract paintings referring to a different world with a touch of reality.
