"Artists are just ordinary people. For me, to do art is a means to exist in this world. My ‘mission’ is to discover the hidden beauty and fantasy in everyday life. Pick up something ordinary from around you, change its form and meaning, and make it art. It feels like a magician playing tricks to an audience because, to me, art is a make-believe thing.
The pursuit of art is an endless process that brings both success and failure but, no matter how easy or painful, our existence must still be celebrated. Therefore, my work tries to reflect life and the fantasy and energy that may possibly exist here, there and everywhere."
