The exhibition features an awe-inspiring new collection of paintings, featuring her fondness for colour, shape and texture - her style has matured, she is even more contemporary.

“I will go on painting and painting and painting,” Aye Nyein Myint answered, when asked what she wanted to do with the rest of her life. Her love of subject matter in glass objects, emerged in water, gives her continuous inspiration to paint deflection – the continual ‘never to be repeated’ source of optic illusion. She is without doubt, Myanmar’s number one, woman professional artist.

Myanmar has changed - the opening up of the country – but the spirit is the same. ANM has gone through several stages of life too. She is sensitive, strong, committed and focused. You can see the colour of eternal spring of life in her paintings.
