asiafineart presents Landscapes, Solo exhibition by Chen Hong Xin, this is a new collection of oil paintings by Chen Hong Xin depicting the landscapes and life scenes of rural china, and also the first solo event we have had in Hong Kong with Chen Hong Xin for three years.
Chen Hong Xin was born and grew up in old Shenzhen when it was still just a fishing village. We are delighted to host this solo exhibition.
Always interested in art and creation, as a student he first went to Guangzhou Fine Art Institute to study oil painting which ultimately became his chosen medium. After graduation, he worked as a graphic designer at Guangzhou Fine Art Studio.
Before Shenzhen become a Special Economic Zone of China, he returned home. Chen is one of the pioneers in promoting the local art scene in Shenzhen and has witnessed the tremendous economic, social and infrastructure changes in the area.
For 9 years, Chen Hong Xin was a staff member of Guan Shan Yue Museum, Shenzhen and retired as Director. Now he devotes his time and his passion to painting portraits and landscapes, his works are recognized as being of the finest quality and is a Grade I National Level artist.
