Artist Statement
I like drawing and making things when I was a child, I visited painting classroom and learnt wood crafting in the Senior High School. After that, I chose my career path for the Child Education taking care of children by teaching how to produce a wall art and making things by art and craft.
One day, I found a teacher using the machine-made stamps bought from the market, my mind just poped up “if there are varieties of stamps” should be more useful for creation, and in search of an idea at a bookstore, met up Keshigomu-Hanko.
After Kindergarten resignation, I could not give up my passion that I like towards drawing and making things, I was falling in love in Keshigomu-Hanko. In year 2008, I participated in different flea markets starting from my hometowns in Hokkaido, and explored my activities in different places in Japan.
Now, I am enjoying in participating in different events, such as Art Markets, and promoting and teaching the joy of carving stamps in classes.
