Goethe-Institut Hongkong presents Hong Kong artist Alex Heung Kin-fung's solo exhibition "Perhaps Love". The exhibition attempts to depict how people explore nature, animals and life via the concept of love. By putting sentiments aroused from love on different animals, the works bring out the delicate relationship between love and the nature through reconstruction and creation. The exhibition comprises mainly paintings. Some are brand new and will be exhibited for the first time. While expressing the theme of "Perhaps Love", the exhibition also explores the possibilities of contemporary painting.
Alex Heung Kin-fung received his BA (Fine Art) and MFA degrees from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University. He is a part-time lecturer of the Hong Kong Art School. Alex has taken part in a number of exhibitions, and his painting is collected by the Hong Kong Museum of Art.
