Born in Sichuan, China in 1969. A graduate from Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts in 1993, with a major in oil painting. One of the pioneering oil painters in China contemporary art, Xie has been invited to several prominent art exhibitions since 1993, which has helped built significant accolades for himself throughout the years.
