SHOW OFF!
Date: 13 Nov 2011 - 14 Jan 2012

SPM will contribute to the UAE’s effervescent art scene, unveiling the new space and offering highlights of contemporary art. This unique cultural project is the first to offer collectors a platform to meet and exchange ideas. SPM aims to act as the first center for the collectors on a regional and international level.

A section of the museum will be dedicated to host art collectors, offering them the opportunity to showcase their private collections. It will enable them to actively participate in the vibrant Dubai and UAE cultural evolvement.

SPM makes the commitment to artists, foundations and collectors alike. Functioning as a space for contemplation and providing resources for intellectual refreshment, it allows for a strong international platform for the region’s creative talents. The foundation of the Salsali Private Museum by a non Emirati resident, reflects a strong commitment to social responsibility for the community in the UAE and Dubai in particular. Moreover it is a clear step towards making the UAE and Dubai the hub and centre for culture and art in the region and on the international scale.
