MOT Collection will be presenting an encounter with 'others' through art works as introduction to contemporary art. Communing and co-existing with others and accepting the presences of different worlds are one of the important messages art has widely told. In a first part, 'Our ninety years 1923-2013', how the artists have believed a power of art and fought for crisis from Kanto earthquake to present based on representative collections. A theme of second part is 'From Me to You – Close but Distant Journeys'. Attention to others is eventually same as a question, who 'I' am.
