Affordable Art Fair, one of the world’s leading and most popular art fairs, will set foot in Hong Kong for the very first time. Bringing together 80 galleries, Hong Kong’s inaugural Affordable Art Fair will take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, a well-known art fair destination.
Originating in London in 1999, the Affordable Art Fair aims to demystify the art world for visitors and provide a fun, inspiring, informative and pressure-free environment in which to view and buy a huge array of art. Work by young emerging artists, will sit alongside art by established, well-known names from both local Hong Kong and international galleries. So whether visitors are looking for a traditional landscape or a contemporary photograph, a figurative painting or street art, there is something for every taste.
All art displayed at the fair is for sale, and with work priced between HK$1,000 to HK$100,000, and 75% of all pieces priced below HK$75,000, there is something to suit every budget. Buying is straightforward, transparent and open, with all prices clearly shown there are no surprises or hidden commissions. There is also a professional wrapping service so artwork can be taken home right away!

Over 1 million visitors have been welcomed at Affordable Art Fairs since their inception, with total art sales over US$275 million. 16 Affordable Art Fairs take place around the world every year, each one connecting with the local consumer, generating strong sales and growing visitor numbers. Last month, Affordable Art Fair Singapore saw 16,000 visitors over its 4 days, with sales of over $4.5 million SGD (HK$28.3 million).
