With the rapid success of Art Monaco, we are pleased to announce that this equidistant region for art enthusiast and luxury lovers will once again become a focal point for the third time as it will be hosting from April 5th to April 8th, the new lavish edition of the contemporary international art show of the French Riviera - Art Monaco'12. Being hosted at what is known to be the "Playground of the Rich and Famous", during four days Monaco will be wealthy of the most beautiful and eye capturing distinctive art that will merely compliment that of the breath taking scenes of the Principality.

Art Monaco'12 will invite sought out galleries from all regions around the globe and will be able to expose and sell their art in the most "opulent" setting. This occasion will allow the forthcoming of all individuals to gather around in a social hub with some of the most influential and renown individuals of our time.

In addition to the specialized media, galleries, cultural institutions and art critics; Art Monaco'12 will add to this year's event antique enthusiasts, jewellery creators as well as furniture designers. The setting will take place with an innovative and vibrant scheme creating a welcoming yet illusory gathering point for the general public, art fanatics and the young and old alike.  With over 3.500 art pieces being exposed for exhibition and sale, it's an opportunity not to miss for those eager to purchase or sale some of the most remarkable art collections around the world or simply to allow yourself to get taken aback by one of a kind inspirational creations.

A VIP private reception will kick off the event on April 5th, followed by three full days of vernissage-style exhibits open to the public.

Forms of Expression

Art Monaco'12 is over all a contemporary art exhibition that will showcase pieces from a variety of artistic forms of expression, including acrylic, oil and watercolor painting, sculpture, photography, antique displays, mixed media as well as Jewelery and Furniture Designers.

Art Monaco'12 is conducting a strict selection of exhibitors and artwork to ensure the high quality and excellence of the Fair.

The Selection Committee, comprised of esteemed figures from the international cultural scene, will be responsible for the selection of all pieces to be displayed. It will always maintain a pluralistic approach in terms of the visual trends to be presented and will focus especially on the projects expressing new artistic languages as well as emerging talents.

Art Monaco'12 is an essential reference for the international cultural scene, and is established as one of the most exclusive art events in the world.

Exhibition Hall

The Grimaldi Forum of Monaco is one of the most valued cultural and congress hall of Europe. Due to its 35’000m² exploitable surface, its 180° breathtaking sea view in the “high end Larvotto district”, the forum welcomes each year the “rich and famous”. From the tribute to Monaco’s beloved Princess Grace, to the exposition of the Romanov Dynasty or the Queens of Egypt, including the resounding echo’s of the world most famous operas, they have all been there…. and soon Art Monaco’12.

Vast yet intimate, spectacular and modern, the Grimaldi Forum of Monaco gives life to a new generation of cultural events. Pushing out walls, overcoming constraints, imagining spaces to be modeled, that is the primary “raison d’être” of a unique place where everything can be reinvented each day!

Art Monaco’12 will take place in the Espace Diaghilev hall, which offers 4.000 m2 to layout and perfectly compose our event with creativity and glamour. It is directly and independently accessible through the esplanade Princesse Grace and situated between the Japanese Garden and the main entrance of the Grimaldi Forum. Its proximity to the famous “Place du Casino” and the short walking distance to main hotels make of the Forum a unique place of interaction, communication and hospitality between artists, tourists and local inhabitants.
