In-Habit
Artist(s): Alfredo & Isabel AQUILIZAN
Date: 3 Aug - 10 Nov 2013

'In-Habit' is the large-scale house installation made of layered corrugated cardboard, which represents a flow of production and consumption. This work refers to Badjao tribe in Borneo, Indonesia. Badjao people have had a life on board, but recently changed it due to globalization. Through the nomadic seafaring lifestyle of the Badjao people, this exhibition will enable us to share the historical and cultural background of “marginalization” and newly understand the character of our contemporary world.
