Our lives are circumscribed by borders—of gender, nationality, and ethnicity. While often a cause of friction, isolation, and exclusion, borders are also a means of knowing how we see the world and expanding our own world.
This exhibition will display works from the museum’s collection in an endeavor to show, through art expression, the character of borders not as a cause of “division” but as a means of “connection” and broadening our horizons.
