Tracey Moffatt is an Australian contemporary artist with an international profile. ‘Tracey Moffatt: Spirited’ showcases her recent body of work, ‘Spirit Landscapes’ 2013, together with the premiere of a new video work, Art calls, featuring Moffatt as a television talk show host.
Art Calls has been assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council, its arts funding and advisory body.
As part of ‘Spirited’, the artist has also selected works from the Gallery's Collection that explore a spiritual relationship with place.
Australian Cinémathèque, GOMA
Selected by the artist Tracey Moffatt, in conjunction with the ‘Spirited’ exhibition, John Ford’s celebrated film The quiet man 1952 starring John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara will screen at the Australian Cinémathèque on 2 and 22 November.
