Hye Young Kim focuses on human 'desire' in the exhibition. Desire is the impetus of survival as well as main resource of human activity. However, to fill it, there are various actions needed. The artist sees these as a sort of labor. A moment of gratifying want is very sweet but such action is not different with hard labor in a long-term. Because people focus on satisfying desire itself so that cannot feel pain of work.
As catching a place where desire is satisfied, the artist shows that the current society overlooks the reality and is obsessed with fantasy of desire so that awakens lost sense.
