‘Polka’ recently opened the doors of its flagship gallery to its adoring list of select clientele; adding yet another applaud worthy mentionable to an already flourishing profile. Nestled in the heart of the capital’s most sought after residential locale, sprawled over the ground floor of a 1000 square yard property, ‘Polka’ has successfully renewed gallery standards across the country.
On entering the red wrought iron art deco gates, addressed by a single oversized red polka dot, a generous splash of greenery welcomes visitors into the premises of a stately home. Stepping across the garden, on a path marked by granite dots, flanked by high walls washed in soothing white, the super area in mention is revealed in its glorious totality.
The garden and surrounding area presents the ideal prospect, for in house projects and host showcases alike, to utilize the gargantuan space for outdoor shows, complete with idyllic lighting and other utilitarian amenities.
The interiors boast an 1400 square feet L shaped parquet floor display area that looks out, through munificent glass double doors bearing a cornucopia of the Polka insignia, onto the 220 square foot verandah display nook. Other liberal space allocation includes an art maintenance laboratory and state of the art storage units.
