David’s vision was to introduce an avant-garde Asian Contemporary Art gallery to the heart of the Chelsea art community. Bringing the latest trends from the Asian art market, China Previews is on the cutting edge of art’s revolution that has changed the face of tradition in China. Dealing with both established and undiscovered talent, China Previews serves as a bridge between East and West, introducing Chinese art to the American market. As the demand for Eastern artwork continues to rise, China Previews will serve as an inside look into the evolving face of art sweeping China.

David Liu - Executive Director

David Liu is a prominent figure in the Chinese art market. Having developed a personal interest in collecting art for many years, David Liu has gone on to become the head of the committee of acquisitions for the Museum of Contemporary Art in Beijing, China. He also serves as the Chief Strategy Officer of the International Society Foundation in Boston. His appreciation for the arts eventually inspired him to open David’s Art & Antique as well as the China Previews Gallery in New York. He has extensive experience working with the renowned Lin & Keng Gallery in Taiwan as an overseas consultant. His expertise and taste in the changing face of Chinese Contemporary Art is widely appreciated. David is credited for successfully introducing aspiring artists like George Chann and John Way into the public’s eye, and helping to spread recognition of their work across the Chinese art market. Today, David continues to act as art consultant for private collectors and corporations alike. He owns residences in both New York and Beijing.
