TAKSU Kuala Lumpur presents Up! a group exhibition by 8 young Malaysian artists; Ed Roger, Najib Ahmad Bamadhaj, Hisyamuddin Abdullah, Choo Kuan Yeoh, Sabihis, Seah Zelin, Khairul Izham and Hafidz Shabri. All these selected artists will be having a solo exhibition with Taksu Kuala Lumpur for the year of 2013 and the upcoming year. Hence, the lineup of the artists is one that will prove to be cutting-edge of the scene.

‘Up!’ is directed to be a prologue to the artworks that the artists produce for their upcoming solo exhibition. Wholly as a preview show, this exhibition is also an act of exposure for these young artists to introduce their body of work. It can be expected to see works that are the first of its kind whilst maintaining the identified styles of the artists. With this platform provided for free expression for these 8 young artists, this selected group is provided with time for them to expedite their work with precision and care before the revealing of their solo exhibitions. ‘Up!’ will prove to be a show worth watching out!
