Situated at Five Ways, PADDINGTON CONTEMPORARY is an exciting new addition to the Sydney art gallery scene, having recently opened refurbished premises in the heart of Paddington.

The gallery’s aim is to exhibit a diverse range of artworks from both established contemporary Australian artists, as well as artists just emerging on the Sydney scene. We therefore acquire works, not only with an eye to the investment dollar for our clients, but which will also offer a unique and fresh perspective on contemporary art; ranging across all media, from painting and works on paper to sculpture and photographic installations.

Comprising 3 separate rooms, the gallery is uniquely suited to a large exhibition spread over the whole gallery - with space for a mix of larger works and more intimate installations; or 2 or 3 separate viewing areas for individual showings, in particular smaller works on paper or photographic works.

New exhibitions regularly opening each month, feature artists working in a range of styles and media. Whether a solo show or a group exhibition, there will be something to delight both the amateur and well-seasoned art collector. Affordable works by prominent Australian artists are also available for viewing from our growing gallery collection.

The gallery is open 6 days a week - Wednesday to Saturday 10 am - 6 pm, Sunday and Tuesday 11am - 5pm. On Mondays it is open by appointment.
