On March 2009, Yu Gallery, founded in Taipei, has opened his door in the centre of Latin area, 15 rue de Seine in Paris. “Yu” means “elegant” in Chinese, and also the word for superiority which is continuously in progression.

Today, Chinese art is always innovating, surprising or even impressive for certain works. We can hardly ignore these masterpieces of Chinese artists from the last decades. Yu Gallery propose the most representative artists who have already obtain international reputation, but also discovers and promotes new talented artists.

This new stage for potential China offers his art an unedited, authentic and individual vision. Yu Gallery wishes to reveal the original and unique creations of these artists from their true nature, and to be able to touch your perceptive sensation.

After many years of visiting art fairs and artists’ studios in China, Georges Monchablon cooperates with Ms. Yu Chien-Hui to launch a new market in adventure. “During the first contacts with these artists, we were immediately attracted by their enthusiasms and their magnificent works.”

In its cozy space, well-arranged with soft lights on the wall, Yu Gallery invite you to discover the works of pioneer Chinese  artists when you take a walk in this historical area of Paris, between the Pont des Arts and Saint-Germain boulevard…
