Artist Statement

"I draw my inspiration from the people of the small villages of Issan in northeastern Thailand where I grew up. I paint the life of the village’s children and women relaxing and playing.  Her paintings use tactile textures to represent the real nature of reality in the village where life is lived close to the earth."
