MJ gallery has opened on August 28, 2007 at Banwoldang, the center of Daegu. We are always happy to offer opportunities to fulfill the desire of art to all people including art theorists, artists, and appreciators.

MJ gallery mainly coordinates and exhibits three different arts, contemporary Chinese arts, contemporary Korean arts, and arts of new artists. We try our best to show better exhibitions to visitors.

First of all, we put all our efforts to make good relationships with contemporary Chinese artists by constantly introducing them to both Daegu city area and artist groups in Korea. Second of all, we support and give as many chances as possible to all the current active artists in Korea to show their potential to visitors. Not only give them chances, but also we work on the project to find new artists and support them to make better artists. In detail, we put our efforts into them to have critical view and up-to-date knowledge of art which is needed to grow as better artists.

MJ gallery is not a kitchen in a palace which can be very distant to ordinary people, but it is a kitchen providing foods to hungry mind and soul for people who desire happiness through every day art.
