Gallery em opened its doors on September 15th, 2007 in Chungdam-dong, the city’s recently reemerged art mecca. Gallery em’s mission is to bring the finest quality of art by new talented artists from across the globe and promote their works both in the domestic and international art markets. The gallery will strive to globalize the Korean art market a global market by showing a wide spectrum of works by artists worldwide.

Gallery em will showcase the latest exhibitions through close collaboration with artists, independent curators, and art critics. The gallery will strive to create a viewer-friendly gallery and act as a liaison for Korean artists to be introduced into the global market and for international artists into the Korean art market. In order to promote Korean artists worldwide, the gallery will actively participate in international art fairs in the coming years and try its utmost to successfully encourage the exhibitions of Korean artists in other countries.
