Seinosuke Sekine graduated from Kyoto prefectural school of arts (formerly Kyoto City University of Arts) and received the award from Independent Award. After it, he established 'Zero Society' and 'VOL Society', and had created cutting-edge and experimental works, as well as collaborated with many artists, literary men and researchers.
Also, as the professor at Kyoto University of Arts, he discovered talented artists and outstanding people in various fileds with developing the base of conceptual process. 

The upcoming exhibition will be looking back Sekine's paintings and educational activities to fight for institutional thoughts and make creative art works with full of poetry. With experimental works, 'furnace and ash', pioneering perspective for nuclear power plant issue, and 'blind drawing' completed with covering his eyes, multi-dimensional works and other resources will be exhibited to look at his activities.
