Jungho Oak is Seoul-based artist, who has been attracting attention worldwide. He has exhibited at Leeum of Seoul "the Samsung Museum of Art" in 2012, and joined the Glenfiddich Residency program in the UK in 2013 . Using his own body sometime, he creates photos and videos. It has rich humour and the elegant expression, but also the seriousness essential in our daily life. This video work uses the style of Japanese traditional kendo, and he plays game with scarecrow in a serious attitude. Repeated game is absurdity and humorous, and it is projected with a grand scale in nature and beautiful skies. He is directing the comical culture and aggression swordsman. This work is made in Scotland during the residency program in the UK.
