Yusuke Kamata has announced art works considering a structure of an object in different perspectives in his two solo exhibitions in 2011 and 2012.
In the exhibition 'D structure' in 2012, he raised 'destruction' as the theme interestingly. To Kamata, distortion of structure is same as distortion of time and destruction of the object means destruction of awareness. Main art piece 'D Structure (destroy)' showed 'destruction' literally, such as breaking a glass or disturbing a view and structure through a mirror.
For this time, he tries to use more conceptual idea for reassembling the world including him, rather than distortion or distraction. He researched his root, parent's native place, life environment, interests. And with related information about relevant culture, industry or architecture, he tried mapping all materials. On this process, he found an interface between his root and several historical truth. What he suggest for this exhibition is visualization of relation, mapping though and his art works aims to get personal criticism and opinion for relationship with his root.
As monument of entropy, Kamata opens the new exhibition starting from himself, and collecting his stories and historic events reminds of a destructive catastrophe. However, his view sheds light on grounds for the history in relation as predicting the future and repeating 'deconstruction' and building.
