SOCIETE GENERALE Gallery presents "Autumn", an exhibition by the Lotus Gallery, bringing both highly remarkable young artists and masters from Vietnam to the Alliance Française de Singapour this December. This year, they will showcase an array of art works with the topic of “Autumn”.
“Autumn is the vibe of a young artist from the High Land Mountains - her creations depict the people and the native plants of the High Land Viet Nam in Autumn. Autumn is the vivid strokes of an 83 years old artist, the last remaining artist of the Indochina College of Fine Art (1925-1930). He is largely known for his own unique style of creation on silk. His 9/2010, 9/2011 and 3/2012 exhibitions in Hong Kong, Paris, Florence and Venice have proven to capture the heart of art lovers. Autumn is the vigorous brushes when portraying his own emotions with the arrival of Autumn from the young artist Le Vo Tuan. Autumn is the prelude of flamboyant lacquers illustrating the vibrantly golden rice fields during the harvesting season; it is the ray of light splashing through bamboo hedges surrounding the village or the blossom of the ripening lotuses.”
