Indigo Blue Art announces the launch of ETHOS V, an annual exhibition that showcases the famed masters of contemporary India Art. This year, IBA will highlight some of the major turning points in the expansive history of contemporary India art and will attempt to acquaint viewers to an introduction to the eclectic diversity of artistic styles and themes found in India Art.

Using time as a maker for the major turning points in history, ETHOS V draws attention to the significant art movements and renowned artists that have had an enduring impact on the existing India Art scene. This exhibition explores the crucial period between 1900s - 1980s of India's transition from a British colony to an independent nation, through several notable art movements and groups. It features over 40 paintings by of some of India's finest artists, whose works are executed in a variety of styles and mediums.

In this collection, viewers will have the rare opportunity to see works by renowned artists such as Abanindranath Tagore, Nandalal Bose, Raja Ravi Varma, Mukul Dey, Jamini Roy, Paritosh Sen, F.N. Souza, M.F Husain, Bhupen Khakhar and many more. These artists form the pioneers of Contemporary Indian Art and viewers will be treated to a pictorial feast of the masters, and hopefully achieve a better understanding of the makings of India Art as we know today.
