Gallery Hyundai Gangnam is pleased to introduce French painter and sculptor, Philip Pasqua. He has started art by self-study, and try to revive original pureness of portrait or still-life, which is barely covered in contemporary art. The artist paints isolated people from a society, such as trans gender, prostitute, and disabled, with his rude strokes and technique. His unique world of art expresses interest in 'lack' and ironical attitude to break 'lack' can be found in his various works. In this exhibition, 20 paintings will be exhibited.
