PKM Trinity Gallery is pleased to announce the great Pop artist Claes Oldenbrug and Coosje van Bruggen's exhibition. This exhibition will be where shows collaborated works by Oldenburg and Bruggen. Maquette of environment sculptures, a symbol of Oldenburg, other sculptures in various sizes, rare drawings will be exhibited with a documentary video of their works. For this exhibition, PKM Trinity Gallery installs 3 massive sculpture, French Horn, Unwound and Entwined (2005) and Leaning Clarinet (2006) at the Times Square in Seoul to provide a chance to face their works to the public.
Oldenburg originally from Sweden has worked in New York since late 1950's, and received attention with his humorous and surrealistic formative arts. His works, which calls attention to ironical esthetics in the surrounding environment, and new rectification, has been tremendously attracted to the art world, and he became one of important contemporary artists in late 1970's. In 1995, he held the retrospective at Guggenheim in Germany and U.K, recently his exhibition organized by Austria museum of Contemporary art is making the rounds Cologne, Bilbao, New York, Minneapolis until 2013. Oldenbur and Bruggen have started collaboration since 1971, and their public sculptures are very popular as landmark in each city. There is also one public art installation 'Spring' (2006) at the Chunggye Square in Seoul.
