PKM Trinity Gallery is pleased to announce the new solo exhibition by Sang Nam Lee, the leading painter in Korea, from 24 August to 12 October. 
His painting consists of many layers of painting by acrylic color and sanding down 50 to 100 times. His working covers painting, design and a boundary of object. A fine process which is beyond Western materialism and a spirit of Orient is a way to find 'an icon for the future', it can be explained as aesthetics at the moment to attract people's attention. He has filled his artworks with over 500 technical figures he invented, this work shows refined energy by mutual exchange between color, line and space. 
As pursuing unique world of art which covers both digital and analogue, and shows a flamboyant expression, he has been in charge of major projects, such as large painting project at Gyeonggi Museum of Art (2010), and participated in international biennales.

Recently, he has been invited to the 2012 Mediations Biennale-Poznan. In celebration of EURO 2012, he will install his large painting at new international airport in Poznan, Poland, by recommendation from Piotr Barelkowski, who is the well-known architect and designed this airport. His artwork of 73x3 meter size will be exhibited at the airport permanently.
