For the last project exhibition at temporary exhibition space, PKM Gallery will be presenting a solo exhibition by Heeseung Chung. 5 works of portrait and still life will be featured.

Heeseung Chung has focused on limit and attribute of photograph, and showed works with daily objects. Capturing surrounding landscapes, the artist suggests objects in a flow of time, such as portrait, body, plant, architecture and space, in dynamic but quite, and cold but warm atmosphere. Her photograph presents cold and dry appearance without the artist's intervention but catches a realistic moment of emotion and mood beyond sensual and lyrical surface based on ordered formativeness with tension. 

One of Korea photographers with great attentions internationally, Heeseung Chung graduated from London College of Communication. She has held many exhibitions in New York, London and Seoul, and currently participates in the group exhibition 'Artspectrum 2014' at LEEUM, Samsung Museum of Art.
