Min Kwon is holding the circulating exhibition 'Dreams of the Invisible' in New York, Washington D.C., and Seoul. The exhibition in New York focused on photograph works of a nude, while he extended female nude and seascape as subject in Washington D.C.
He shows surrealistic photographs beyond the reality. Works of female nude seem like inviting us to his dreamy world. Women veiled by darkness present pure artistic energy, and they are exposed by exquisite and beautiful brightness. Jeong Sil Lee, a professor from Corcoran College of Art and Design in U.S., commented his works that "As woman, mother, and sea have the same origin in French, he focuses on two subjects and origin of life and constant creation of the nature.
Also, the seascape emphasizes endless and constantly circulating time. His sea implies universal continuity that transcends time, and it is against finite beauty of female body. Richard Vine from Art in America described his works as 'it shows understated classic beauty in the New York art market where is full of provocative works.'
