It is our pleasure to introduce the newly-opened website of Gallery Mokkumto. Gallery Mokkumto is located on the third and fourth floors of Daehakro Culure & Space Building in the University Avenue. It consists of modern exhibition halls and a gallery shop, which mainly display works of contemporary artists. Gallery Mokkumto exhibition projects take place 4-5 times throughout the year, they serve to meet the high artistic and cultural demands at Daehakro.

"But it is not the only gallery that serves demands of Daehakro, right?"

It is our wish to make more accessible to the public through our new website. As our mission states, we will continue to discover new talents and support the leading artists through exhibition projects, and increase participation and contribution to the various art fairs in Korea. Through these exhibitions, we seek to bring in artists of diverse backgrounds and to play a central role in establishing a venue for the visual arts in Daehakro.

Learning to appreciate the arts should not be a dreaded experience. If one can start feeling more comfortable with themselves visiting the art gallery and develops a habit of visiting more often, that is the beginning of the appreciation of arts. Gallery Mokkumto aims to provide a place where people can come and taste the fun and beauty of the art works of various genres. Gallery Mokkumto wants to be a place where the artists can mingle with the audience and together find some rest in the arts.
