Gallery SEOMI(SEOMI & TUUS) opened to the public in 2003 Cheongdam district in Seoul, Korea. It has its roots in the parent company 'Seomi' in Gahoe, run by the President HONG Song-Won, regarded as an internationally prominent an collector and dealer in her own right, owning the distinguished reputation of the most exclusive vision in contemporary tine arts as a private gallery since 1988.

Some of Seomi's exhibition history includes Gerhard Richter(1995), and Allighiero Boetti(2004), as a public gallery that operates under the highest standards of the reputation and history in the held of contemporary fine ads as well as exclusive design masterpieces such as Scandinavian Design, Jean Prouve.

Gallery SEOMI strives to generate and establish as a space of dosign-oriented that proposes a new vision for Korean art and design public. As the first Korean gallery to have participated in Design Miami, Gallery SEOMI has introduced the most unique and exceptional contemporary Korean design pieces such as tables, stools, ceramics. By presenting modern beauty of nature in Korean culture in symbolic way metaphoric representation of Korean aesthetic by maximizing materiality of objects, yet simple forms and structures has shown new possibilities in art furniture design as in formative arts, imbuing a new kind of aesthetic idea and the sense of fine arts into design works.
