Gana Art is glad to announce Mari Kim's solo exhibition. Through an image of girl staring at viewers with unique eyes. Also, as she made a music video and character images for the famous Korean girls' group '2NE1', Mari Kim shows her ability as pop artist who makes a line between pop culture and art blur out. 
The title of the exhibition is 'Famous Show'. Celebrities or historical people in all over the world, such as Joanne of Arc or Chanel, come into her work as 'Eyedoll', a girl having naive desire. Another character used is animation character, like white princess or Kitty. She has already emphasized  comic attribute through Eyedoll with ears of Mickey Mouse or rabbit. She intends Eyedoll as stereotype planted by mass media. 
This exhibition will show how she utilizes a form of 'pop' freely and meets trends of contemporary art.
