Road to the Museum was founded in 2004 in Insa-dong which is the biggest art market in Korea with 270 sq.m displaying spaces. Since its foundation, they have been introducing the representative Korean artists and their works to many people ranging from the art community to the general public. The artists presented by Road to the Museum include Kim hyung-gn(Korean, b. 1940~), Kim Sou (Korean, b.1919~), Kim Foon(Korean, b.1924~), Byun Shi-ji(Korean, b.1926~), Lee Man-ik(Korean, b. 1938~).

From 2008, they started to cover the foreign artists and their works with participating in The China 2008 Chinese Contemporary Art Today [Exhibitor: Feng Zhenjie(Chinese, b.1968~), Liu Lining(Chinese, b.1980~), Wu Mingzhong(Chinese, b.1963~), Tamen(Lai Shengyu; Chinese, b.1978~, Yang Xiaogang; Chinese, b.1979~), Zhao Nengzhi(Chinese, b.1968~)],  and Asian Printmaking Collection[Exhibitor: Yayoi Kusama (Japanese, b.1929~), Yue Minjun(Chinese, b.1962~), Zhang Xiaogang(Chinese, b.1958~), Kim Jong-hak(Korean, b.1954~), Lee Dae-won (Korean, 1921~2005)]and Latin American Collection[Exhibitor: Hernan Miranda(Paraguayan, b.1960~), Flora Fong(Cuban, b.1949~),  Ever Fonseca(Cuba, b.1938~)] and opening special exhibitions of Yayoi Kusama and Andy Warhol Pop Art.[Exhibitor: Yayoi Kusama(Japanese, b.1929~), Andy Warhol(American/1928-1987)] In addition to introduce foreign artists to Korea, they are making an effort to introduce talented Korean artists overseas through the international art fairs. They also expect to make the opportunities to introduce talented foreign artists to Korean art market by participating these art fairs.
