Gallery SUN Contemporary is pleased to inform news of artist Youngmi Shin’s latest exhibition ‘Sweet, Sweet, Lonely, Sweet’ in Brazil. A solo exhibition of Korean artist Shin who is known for pastel colors and self-portrait figures is held at Galeria Thomas Cohn located in São Paulo from April 29, 2011.
 
As the First gallery to be active on the continent to participate in International Fairs, a leading gallery, Galleria Thomas Cohn has been actively introducing emerging artists from both Brazil and abroad since its found in 1983. Youngmi Shin’s solo exhibition, too, was arranged by a visit of Thomas Cohn who has a continuous interest in her paintings. 
 
At Opening Night with the artist in attendance, many people came including prominent gallerists and collectors like Ricard Akagawa and show a great interest in Shin’s works. The show has extended due to the success.
