In 2003 completed a graduate degree in sculpture at Kyoto City University of the Arts. Major solo exhibitions include "White / Drift" at Kodama Gallery, Osaka (2002); "splash and flake" at Museum Studio at Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art (2007); "TEAM 10 Teppei Kaneuji: Ghost In The City Lights" at Tokyo Wonder Site, Shibuya, Tokyo (2008); "Melting City / Empty Forest" at Yokohama Museum of Art (2009); and, "Metamorphosis: Objects Today Vol. 6" at Gallery αM, Tokyo (2009). Major group exhibitions include: 2005 Yokohama Triennale (as part of the artist unit COUMA; Yamashita Pier, Yokohama); "All About Laughter: Humor in Contemporary Art” at Mori Art Museum, Tokyo (2007); "Beautiful New World: Current Japanese Visual Culture" at Long March Space, Inter Arts Center and Tokyo Gallery + BTAP in Beijing and Guangdong Museum of Art, Guangzhou; "MOT Annual 2008: Unraveling and Revealing” at Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo (2008); "Platform 2009 Project by Invited Curators" at KIMUSA, etc., Seoul (2009); "TWIST & SHOUT" at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, Thailand (2009).
