Sakamoto uses 'goods in daily use' as a guiding motif and his work gives an imagination of the air, sounds in a space, so that the audience can have familiarity. Also, refined composition, sky-focused scene, soft color and clear form, these make the audience feel comfortable away from the reality. Inspired by painting 'ripple' of Fukuta Heihachiro, Japanese-style painter, 'the water surface' and 'night view', beautiful and geometry light on the street from the window of his regular inn in Tokyo, are made in Mezzotint for this exhibition.
