Artist(s): Kazuki UMEZAWA
Date: 3 May - 14 Jul 2013
CASHI will present the Retrospective Exhibition of Kazuki Umezawa.
Kazuki Umezawa is a young artist who creates a kind of bricolage with all kinds of images and data scattered around on the Internet.
His works of art are composed of images printed by inkjet and other special printing technologies. A variety of types of images, such as characters, photos, texts and icons, all combine to form a complicated work of art. His decorative and vivid screens seem to represent what the contemporary world consisting of the Digital and the Analogue is.
Since he started his career as an artist, Umezawa has held many exhibitions of his creations and energetically participated in art fairs and group exhibitions. He has also expanded his activities globally to assist in art direction and production. He is attracting a lot of attention.
This exhibition will display all his works of recent years, including some pieces that have not yet been published in our gallery, Tokyo.
