SCAI’s booth at Art Fair Tokyo 2014 will be included as part of ‘G-plus’, the newly launched section exclusive to contemporary art and will be co-curated by the gallery and our represented artist Kohei Nawa.
The exhibition will consist of works by five emerging artists. Kohei Nawa will present new paintings and sculptures in addition to Daisuke Ohba’s acrylics depicting his quest for the animistic perception of nature. Phantasmagorical imagery by Nao Matsumoto blurs the border between fiction and reality; Keisuke Jimba presents an artistic response transformed by information media and an installation by Taro Komiya pursues optical illusion through spinning objects and mirror reflections.
