Five Tagboat Award winners aligned with 2 inviting artists are going to present "Tagboat Award Special Exhibition", they are Tomohiro Higashikage, Satoshi Aoki, Ayako Kato, Kaori Ogishima, Toyo Horikawa, Tatsuya Kikuchi, Hiroshi Mori.
The first-prize winner Tomohiro Higashikage articulates conception of "Live/Death" though his artworks created by animal heads, with which the artist points to the feelings and souls inside of different species, a special way to emphasize being existence. Satoshi Aoki created diverse lines extension by using different color of ink. Ayako Kato reorganize his memories deepen into his sub conscientiousness to create a spontaneous paintings, which reflects profound thoughts towards environment. Kaori Ogishima presents dogs's figure in a humorous tone. Toyo Horikawa has always been fascinated in old buildings and ruins. Tatsuya Kikuchi features female issues, discussed inner and outer quality of women. Hiroshi Mori displays sarcastic paintings insinuates an opaque social realities, uncertain and hopeless feelings for the future.
