Color theory has constituted an important cycle in artistic works over the history of art. In 19th century, owed to new discoveries in colors from science, Impressionist developed the specific study of color and used it on canvas. They believed there's no permanent and lasting color of material substances-their color changing coincided with the passage of time and angles. Furthermore, the color of shadow is not black or sepia. It is said that Impressionist paintings not only emphasizes the ordinary object matter yet, accentuate the momentary and trasient effects of sunlight and depict the visual world from artist's subjective angle. Picasso said "the colour Oasis is delicious and can make people happy, people live up something." Certainly the color vibration of light has become the main of Huang's artworks.
Conventionally, discussing with the light adopt the Additive systems- from darkness to brightness, overlapping the bright color on lightless status. However, Huang believes the development of light ought to be constituted from the origin of light: applying the Subtractive systems to depict light, attenuating strong luminance to somber. Relating to this, while light decling the three fundamental colors appeared first, the brightest colors; from perception of the eye are primary colors-magenta, yellow and cyan instead the conventional set of red, yellow, and blue. From Huang's thinking, blue is not a pure primary color, it saturates with darkness. This exhibition of oil paintings concludes Huang's study for color theory. Attempting to employ the set of red, yellow and green creation, Huang believes the gamut could be generated from combinations and mixing of the three primaries, including blue. Continuation of the "Rainbow Rain" series, this exhibition leads spectators a completely different color experience, the complete combination of new color theory and paintings.
