17 years ago, Oliver Ferrieux came far away from Lyon, France, when the first day he arrived at Taiwan, he determined he would settle down here forever.

About Dream of Stone

At the very beggining when I planned this exhibition, "stone faces" suddenly appeared and floated in front of my eyes, which originated from those relief sculpture carved on the stone wall of old European stone houses constructed during middle ages. And the images' always been living deeply in my heart, now follows me to Taiwan.

Today, the images of relief sculpture image that would have appeared in utopian world now reconstructed in today's Taiwan with halo shivering on it's lumpy surface. They sang and whistled passing by me which inspired me to create.
