Artist(s): Yusuke YAGI
Date: 25 Dec - 30 Dec 2013

Yusuke Yagi studying Japanese painting at Kyoto University Art and Design graduated school has expressed a night view at 2a.m. in Japan with traditional Japanese material and technique. As sensing with keen sensibility, he depicts a contradiction in Japanese society directly. A power of painting and the world of expression reveal his young talent.

I walk on the empty street at 2a.m. Even familiar scenery is changed into a strange place at night. In a silent night with the cold air, I paint with a belief in our life existing on deserted streets.
